Government Dental College Alumni Association was started in July 1999 along with Bangalore Medical College and jointly functioned for a few years. Later on 10/02/2001 it became an independent body. All who graduate or post graduate from Government Dental College are considered for the membership. Honorary members are elected by the membership at their annual meeting. The purpose of the Alumni Association is to promote the welfare of Government Dental College and to encourage the interest of graduates and post graduates.

The Alumni association coordinates alumni activities, both in and off the college. Out going graduates and post graduates from their Alma Mater are urged to become an member of the GDC Bangalore Alumni Association.

We regularly communicate with our alumni through news letter -Alma Matar, which includes news of alumni accomplishments, student activities and the many pursuits of our alumni. We do appreciate the wonderful feedback we receive from our readers.
